Great shave today. The fresh blade made a world of difference in the razor. Very nice and easy shave that ended with a close shave. Curious how it would fare with a fresh wizamet.

First time using Zingari Man. First use, pretty nice products. I made the lather a little too watery, but it was still very good. The scent on these is great, but still not quite what I'm looking for (in terms of ozone pre-tornado scent). I'll find what I'm after eventually!

He's a curious guy. He doesn't care about the gear, he just wanted some water.

Olympus looks interesting for sure. I'm just a pineapple lover so I had to go this route with my first purchase.

Really good shave today. Did 2 passes on my face and 3 on my jawline and neck, using 5-4-3 settings on my slim. On my neck I decided to try a different way than normal. Did top-bottom on pass one, bottom-top on pass two, then did right-left on pass three. My hair grows at a diagonal angle (mostly) and I had been trying to match that. Today (and yesterday), I decided to just go simple. Today's shave showed me that simple might be the right answer. I'll give this another go next time too. Probably won't shave tomorrow for a break before AA.

First off, I need to say thanks to /u/mitosismonkey on reddit for sending me a smush of both Kryptonite and Sonder. I really appreciate it. Kryptonite is a fantastic lather, but I'm not entirely sold on the scent. It's very nice, but I would see myself reaching for Sea Ice Lime over Kryptonite personally. My overall shave was good, but I had two issues: 1) got a little quick going around my upper lip and cut myself slightly, and 2) got cocky on my neck and did touch-ups without lather. Very stupid. Still, though, since I had my Slim on 3 during that time (for the ATG pass) it wasn't even that bad. I just have to quit being stupid :)

Overall, a good shave with the Slim, using 5-4-3 on the WTG-XTG-ATG passes.

Shave #2 with my Slim. Decided to do 2 passes on the face and 2+ on my neck. Last shave I did a straight 3 run, but today I did 5 on my WTG and lowered it 3 on the XTG. Then on the cleanup I went to 2. Solid shave, if not the smoothest since I didn't do a ATG pass plus my technique.

Purchased a 1966 Gillette Slim Adjustable razor (L4) on eBay, and it arrived today. Decided to give it a go after work. Stuck it on 3, and did 2 passes on my face and 3 on my neck. Zero irritation and a smooth shave; it is, indeed, a very nice razor. I can see why they were, and still are, so popular. I stuck it on 3 since I'm used to Henson razors and am used to mild razors. I think I'll bump up my first WTG pass to a 5 next time I shave to see how it is. Still need to work on my technique (especially since my neck hair grows at an angle), but I have no regrets about this purchase.

Decided to try a different blade with my +++ Henson today, so I went back to a blade that I did not have any success with using the + version. Have to say, it was a very nice shave. No real complaints at all, except for the fact that I still haven't figured out how to deal with the area around my jaw joint.
