This is pretty fucking banana sandwich. Very impressive and may even help you understand compsci a bit better.

Here's an AI generated summary of the video:

In the video "I Made a 32-bit Computer Inside Terraria," the creator shares their remarkable accomplishment of constructing a fully functional 32-bit computer simulation within the popular game Terraria. They utilized the game's wiring mechanics to create complex circuits and successfully developed a computer capable of executing instructions and storing data. The video mentions future plans to create a simplified version of Terraria within the game as the next milestone. The project is open-source and can be found on GitHub for further exploration.

It honestly feels good. I have been mentally divorced from reddit since they doubled down on their API fuckery. I enjoyed my time there but, at this point, I don't have the energy to move anywhere but forward. I'm glad to have stripped Reddit of my content.

Here's to starting another life. I hope we can make it a good one.

My favorite thing about Charlie Kirk is that, regardless of your political standing, nobody can tell if any still image of him actually has a correctly sized face.

My least favorite thing about him is his continued existence.

I don't understand why people are grasping so desperately onto reddit. This platform is young but already superior in most ways to reddit.

Also, I firmly believe that federation is the perfect environment for something like reddit and this is what we should have gotten in the first place instead of what reddit became.

I get to be that guy! I'm so excited!

In power strips, the lights are (in the overwhelming majority of cases) actually a neon bulb! They're cheaper for that specific purpose because they can be powered directly off of the mains power with a single resistor.

Your point is entirely valid and I bear the same cross, this is just a fun fact you can use to impress colleagues, strangers, and potential lovers, dazzling them with your deep esoteric knowledge of and passion for illuminators in power strips.

This is the most uncomfortable an image of zuck has ever made me which, honestly, is an achievement.

This is all good info except for the gender thing. The round/long difference is just a growth habit. Watermelon plants (and other cucurbits like squash, zucchini, cantaloupe, etc) produce male and female flowers. Only the female flowers produce fruit and must be pollinated by a male flower to do so.

Got the suggestion from a comment yesterday (I'll link when I find it) and I'd been using FreshRSS on it's own for a long time. Morss is a godsend for feeds that like to give you only the headline. It's also especially awesome for the Hackernews and Lobsters feeds because it will expand the posted links for you which I appreciate a great deal. Hosting it takes like 3 seconds and it's so worth it.
