Had this experience with Dead Cells. Regretted it and haven’t touched games until they reached 1.0 since then.

A dev made a mistake when the product was still in alpha and fixed it immediately after becoming aware of it. Let’s never use the product ever again!

Ok, I didn’t read the article but I’d guess it’s satire about parents exploiting their (in this case autistic) children for money. So it ridicules exactly what you describe as disgusting, hopefully to point out this injustice. So I don’t understand what you’re saying.

Also, since you’re already 14 versions deep you should probably implement automatic “garbage collection”.

I don’t have the command at hand but you can name versions.

I always understood the saying as meaning all people who hurt people have been hurt not all people who have been hurt will hurt people. So maybe

hurt people hurt people

instead of

hurt people hurt people

Not sure if you mean pin single messages or entire chats. The latter has been possible for a while now.

There won’t be another technologically advanced society on earth to repeat our mistakes. All the easily accessible resources needed have long been turned into infrastructure that will degrade into unusable waste by the time the planet has healed and surviving humans would be capable of making use of it again.

But I’d do anything* to stop climate change!

Tap for spoiler*I can still eat meat daily, have a house with a paved front yard, 2 SUVs in the garage, go on vacation via plane 3 times a year and buy cheap disposable stuff on Amazon, right?

Fuck you for putting a perfectly fine dark mode picture onto a white background.

Are there any well regarded brands in the EU that sell high quality short?

Love my Dickies shorts because I’ve found them to be well made and long lasting but am considering options if I can find equivalent products.

If yes, which word(s) and how does it manifest?

(I’ll leave mine as a comment)

I’m just looking for a simple 2D floor planner that is easy to use and has the ability to show measurements.

The two most recommended open source tools I’ve seen have shortcomings.

Sweet Home 3D:

  • Very 3D centric, which over complicates things.
  • Project was recently acquired/handed off to a company and the iOS version is published by “AI Photo Editor Lab SRL”

draw.io / diagrams.net:

  • Very finicky to set up and create floor plans
  • To display measurements one has to add measurement objects to every wall/object

Does anyone have other recommendations?

I’m looking for a way to keep an eye on open source software I’m using, especially if there are detrimental changes. Like for example when there’s an acquisition (Raivo Authenticator) or the project has not been updated in a long time (potentially posing a security risk).

But I don’t want to have to read about every project, just the ones I’m using.

Anyone got any ideas?

Does anyone know why there are no dedicated Authenticator apps made by for example Proton or Bitwarden?

I’m aware that they have TOTP baked into their password managers but you still need to have at least one separate solution to log into your vault.

Is there a Lemmy app for iPad that has split screen like Narwhal for Reddit had? Post list on the left, content/comments on the right side.
