I'm not American, but I do hope that Caroline's message will resonate with the undecided voters or even some Trump supporters. I still can't believe he is being taken seriously by a large proportion of Americans.

Quote from the article:

“Charles is very good at street circuits – we’ve seen in Baku, we’ve seen in Monaco what he’s capable of doing,” the McLaren driver said. “I’m sure he’s probably quite happy with his lap. If he wasn’t happy with his lap, I’m quite worried for tomorrow!"

I'm surprised FIA pushed McLaren to change their rear wing. I would assume FIA would take the same stance they took vis-a-vis McLaren's front wing. Still, I think this will make the MCL38 slower on the straights without DRS, and that's about it.

This chatbot experiment reveals that, contrary to popular belief, many conspiracy thinkers aren't 'too far gone' to reconsider their convictions and change their minds.

The problem with your argument is that it is 100% possible to get ChatGPT to produce verbatim extracts of copyrighted works.

Exactly! This is the core of the argument The New York Times made against OpenAI. And I think they are right.

I'm impressed Charles managed to make the one-stop strategy work. It's a shame he didn't do a better job in qualifying. He could have races Checo harder. Excellent race by Sainz. He seems on it this year. I hope he finds a good race seat. He deserves it.

“Following thoughtful discussions between David Sanchez and the team leadership, the mutual decision has been taken for David to leave the team.

“Upon our joint reflection, it became apparent that the role, responsibilities, and ambitions associated with David’s position did not align with our original expectations when he agreed to join us in February 2023.

“Recognising this misalignment, both David and I agreed that it would be best to part ways now, so to enable him to pursue other opportunities that will better leverage the full scale and breadth of his remarkable skillset.

McLaren does. Technically, they have had it since last year but it's in full effect as of this season. They have Peter Prodromou as Technical Director, Aerodynamics; David Sanchez as Technical Director, Car Concept & Performance; and Rob Marshall as Technical Director, Engineering & Design. There's also Neil Houldey as Deputy Technical Director, Engineering and Design.

To me it's encouraging the fact that Ferrari didn't take a step back with the developments introduced last year. Little by little Fred's influence is being felt. The strategy has improved and the number of errors have gone down. I'm less worried about them this year.

Ferrari made a massive step in race pace vs last year (~1.4s/lap), but the RB20 is the car to beat!🏆

They had the same pace over a race distance However, Verstappen had minimal tyre wear (even on the softs!), indicating that he was not even pushing 100%😳 Crazy consistency👌

The average of the timings of the race sims are off by 10s but Mark Hughes's remarks remain valid: the Ferrari was much faster than the Red Bull. It's obvious Red Bull is holding back performance but, how much? In any case, Ferrari might give Red Bull a harder time this year.

So is that 1m31.344 from Verstappen ominous or it's just preseason testing and times don't matter?

I've configured my android phone to connect to cloudflare dns using the one.one.one.one server. When I go to https://1.1.1.1/help in Firefox for android, the page shows that it cannot use the DoH protocol, but Dot works. That wouldn't be too much of a problem but, since Firefox has rolled out ECH and it requires DoH, Firefox won't be using ECH. Is there a way to fix that. Thanks.

P. S.: I should point out that when I visit cloudflare's dns help page chrome for android does use DoH.
