Not only does Kagi produce great search results, as good as "old Google" IMO, its business model means the above cannot (or at least, shouldn't) happen. If it ever changed its model to include ads etc it would collapse so fast.

So for me, unlike the other poster, I'd recommend it to everyone who's finding the existing search engines are rubbish and full of useless Etsy and SEO etc links.

It's weird with Big Bang Theory, when it first started me and my friend circle loved it, thought it was brilliant but yes it did lose something after a few seasons.

But online everyone just seemed to hate it - could it be because we're British and it just landed better with us..?

Sorry if I'm being dumb with this one, but I can't see how to edit posts. Comments, yes, but posts don't seem to have an edit facility.

I had mistype in a post I made earlier and had to switch to another app to edit it.

I would like to be able to use multiple accounts simultaneously with the option of viewing individual timeslines or an “everything” timeline. On the Everything timeline, the UI would indicate which account is showing (and therefore commenting) that particular post.

For reference take a look at the Liftoff! app - it adds a "via " next to the community name * eg !fediverse@lemmy.world via darreninthenet@sh.itjust.works *- indicating fediverse community on lemmy.world instance coming from my sh.itjust.works account.

Purpose - for accounts on defederated instances, or on instances with communities being blocked on some other instances

Considerations:

multiple accounts subscribing to the same community - proposed solution is for users to set their accounts in a priority order like the guest account drag and drop, so the account with the highest priority subscribed to that community is shown as the "via" account and used for any posts or comments

Edge was my main browser until about six months ago, then they pushed that obnoxious UI change that added a load of buttons to my toolbar that I can't move or disable, and that irritating sidebar that jumps up whenever it can even when the button is disabled, and I went back to Firefox again.
