To shreds you say?

Sadly I wasn't wondering. Just watching the country implode very quickly, only for an equally horrifying explosion coming all too soon.

There will be mass violence if Trump wins or loses. Far more manageable if the latter, but democrats are masters of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Don't beat yourself up. Seriously.

I was able to break free early partly due to how absurd the hypocrisy became. My mother was going to hell, not because she's a cold narcissist, but a Jew and a 'practitioner' of new age bullshit. And my father saw nothing at all wrong with this type of belief.

Not to mention he was pretty racist (though in a 'subtle' way), while helping raise my adopted Korean sister.

I was lucky that he and my mother were such atrociously bad examples of how to deal with others, that I vowed to never be like them.

I've had every recommended booster, got it from my dentist in July 2023 and spent a solid week in bed with what rivaled the worst flu I'd ever had. Actual flu, not "it's just the flu, bro" bullshit.

This was followed by a month of a wet racking cough and very congested lungs. I have no idea how much the vaccines and boosters reduced the severity of lessened any long covid, but I got my booster last year (months later) and will be doing so again very soon this year.

Why the hell would anyone want this virus?

Phylis Schlafly, one of the main architects behind the modern religious right controlled GOP.

I guess I'm not such a weirdo for still wearing a mask when going out.

Repeatedly.

I worked in retail only very briefly in the 80s and never had any major issues. I consider myself very lucky for that.

Even before covid, people seemed to be treating retail staff as some kind of lower life form far worse than I remember, but it's absolutely gone insane since.

Can I borrow some of that crow? I was CERTAIN that despite his obvious issues and steadfast refusal to even address them, that Biden stepping out of the race would be the death knell for the US.

Yet here we are and I feel HOPE for the first time in a long time. Kamala feels like she'll be more than just a gatekeeper against fascism in the short term. I'm still nervous because... politicians are still politicians. But her record has been almost overwhelmingly good, even saying back to her time as AG of California.

Which is worse? Target making their pathetic attempt to appear like they give a damn about oppressed groups or scrambling to appease nazis who worship a ‘businessman’?

Wouldn’t taking money from those filthy groomers (oh ye gods I hate that word from a party of child rapists) by tricking them into thinking they care be a good thing?

He always looks so sad in stories about his nightmare laws being blocked (sadly too rare).

Probably why I refer to him as Ron DeSadness.

Discovery makes me sad. Some great premises and actors, very little of what makes/made Trek great. What a shame.

Lower Decks is nothing but joyous snort giggles. Well quite heartfelt at times.

SNW is wonderful fun. You get your progressive post scarcity utopia (yay) and more than a few sensible chuckles. And guffaws. Also the truly grim but still appropriately Trek stories like Under the Cloak of War.

Also I would kill for a proper Bat'leth Boys music video! You have not experienced K-pop until you've heard it in the original Klingon.
