I realized this morning that for how much Luigi is praised there haven't been attempts to follow his example.
I don't know why that felt relevant on this post and I'm definitely not advocating anything, just an observation

Clearly written by a non-pineapple eater, can't fathom that they just gave us pineapple eaters inspiration

Because the people who came up with it assume it would have the same ego as them.
It's also just Pascal's wager in a robot costume.

Different websites running the same program that work with each other. Lemmy is the program running on lemmy.world, where you and I both have accounts. There are other Lemmy servers that lemmy.world is compatible with. In the comments of this post you can see some user names that end with other sites in this format: name@other.lemmysite, they have accounts on different websites that also run Lemmy.
There are other programs that work this way too, like Mastodon and Pixelfed. All these websites running all these programs are "the fediverse"

It is not advisable to attempt to read your own entrails

Right? That's no way to read the future. You gotta microwave the ravioli and choke it down while scalding hot, to focus your intention. Then by inspecting the residue in the bowl you can determine which soda the spirits have in mind for you

Bad news about Target: they've cancelled their DEI initiatives to cater to the administration

That mantis shrimp familiar is badass.

Do familiars count as dependents?

What's your impression of loops so far?
I've been underwhelmed, but I don't know if that's a platform issue or an adoption issue. Found a couple good accounts to follow, but I really want a block option to keep some accounts out of my "for you"
