Is this bullshit even against YouTube TOS?
I just woke up and that's how I read it like 3 times in a row
Those are all gross oversimplifications. By the same logic the internet is just a glorified telephone, the computer is a glorified abacus, the telephone is just a glorified messenger pigeon. There are lots of people who don't understand LLMs and exaggerate its capabilities but dismissing it is also bad.
Exactly. I don't get why people are freaking out so much when it's easy to create a new account and clients support multiple accounts anyways. Big instances are a big target so they need to protect themselves. On Reddit the piracy subs are neutered because they can't link to anything. What's good about the fediverse is you can have sub verses within it. It's dumb to have your piracy account linked to your main account anyways.
Is there a tool for me to download my data first?
I guessed it based on the picture but I've never heard of them either
Wouldn't reducer be more precise?
In the case of pixel or apple they don't care because they get 30% of all app purchases anyways
His performance just doesn't have whimsy in it. You can tell he's trying but it feels really forced. Wonka needs an exceptional performance, not just a big name.
Just search led light dim stickers on Amazon and you'll find them for way less. They're just stickers. You could also find round stickers in an office supply or art store.
I don't think it will go mainstream due to the Reddit drama but I do think it will hit critical mass due to it, and hiring critical mass will give it a chance to go mainstream. The biggest issue I've seen people have with Lemmy and the fediverse is the onboarding process, and that is a very solvable problem.
Hear me out, a good portion of Reddit posts are reposts anyways so what if we did a one time import of Reddit community top posts of all time to seed communities so there's a place people feel more encouraged to post to? I don't like bot posts generally, but if it's a one time thing I think I'd like it if the communities here had some extra seed content to browse so you wouldn't reach the end so quickly like you do now.
