Maybe if I had given it a real chance and started following a few more people, I might have had a much better experience. My feed was filled with random stuff that I was never going to have any interest in....

Can totally agree. Debian & Arch are totally equal in terms of stability. Any Linux os can be unstable, it really all depends on how the user uses it....

For me GIMP is easier to use than krita, pinta, or any other photo editor on Linux....

Thankfully I've never had that happen, but if it did I would probably just switch to a tty & use the killall command on whatever was giving me bother....
