It was a bit backlogged due to last weeks events. Normally I myself will go in at least once every 24 hours and clean up the registration queue as I can. Hopefully as we onboard more admins (soon hopefully!) the delay will be lessened even more :)

100%, we will implement it when we can :)

If you see them or anyone spamming on LemmyNSFW, please report them.

Currently, none that are safely moderated. There is one that we have defederated from, but I would caution against going there.

We will, hopefully soon. Our backend team is working right now to figure out the best way to do that.

admin here for lemmynsfw, it's been annoying as hell having to weed thru the spam reports. we had to make a pinned announcement posting saying if people keep reporting content creators who post their links in the majority of communities that are fine with it, we are going to have to start taking action. it's just ridiculous.

Absolutely. I think this is the best middle ground between things. Having the rules be as broad as possible on the sidebar and in the docs elaborating and clarifying for mods who feel need to understand a bit more our approach here. I am hopeful to complete all the current incomplete pages by the end of the week if possible.

I agree. There needs to be an audit of lemmy entire source.

If there is an issue with a moderators decision, please contact an admin for further review. There is work being done to try figure out how make it so that posts can have a reporting distinction of some kind, kind of like how Reddit did. Sort of (report to site staff) and (report to community)

We are aware of this list and it should be noted that most (or nearly all) of these are due to either legal concerns for hosting links to pornography in their host country or due to “no porn” rules. :)

The purpose of the lemmyverse is be federated as a platform overall. If you aren’t at least attempting federation with other instances you’re more or less just a forum (imo)

That and it would cripple the instance. If every single instance defederated from us, user growth would stagnate. Seeing the content federate into all incentivizes people to join in and engage.

As a heads up, I am more than willing to help with the front admin stuff, backend just isn't my expertise. If someone is willing to do the backend more I can do more front end stuff. I'm experienced with management of large communities and would be comfortable approaching some of the current pressing issues in a transparent way as well as opening up some discussions with other instance admins to try and address their concerns. I'm honestly just approaching things the same way I did when dealing with a large minecraft server. Horny adults are just grown up feral teenagers, I guess.
