Now the mainstream media cares about egregious government overreach and invasive surveillance?! Fuck them

Haha yup the amount of times I've tried to educate friends/family only to feel like banging my head against a brick wall would be more effective are far too many

Sad to think there will be real people who are fine with the privacy invasive spyware

I guess as a dictator it's sorta evil genius as you now offload the responsibility for human rights violations to some other country and can then bald face lie that you had nothing to do with the terrible conditions the people endured.

How does a theoretical case of not having insurance companies make a car non-driveable?

It was a very boring film. Well shot and great acting, but boring.

Just a feeling, but from anecdotal experience it seems like the initial release was very good and they quickly realized just how powerful of a tool it was for the average person and now they've dumbed it down in many ways on purpose.

Please add widget support to Bean. I'll even subscribe to Pro for them. I just need a great lemmy app that has widgets like the Apollo app had. Thanks

Edit 1: fuck it. I just subscribed to Pro. Bean is hands down the best lemmy app for iOS. I've literally tested them all; their stable and TestFlight versions. Hopefully my sub to Pro can help keep active development to Bean. Fingers crossed for widgets (っಠ‿ಠ)っ

I've read through a few docs, including this one: https://github.com/system76/firmware-open/blob/master/FEATURES.md#disabled-management-engine

But, I've not found any definitive answer. Does anyone know if the 10th gen i7 would have the open firmware for disabled Intel ME on the Meerkat mini? Thanks
