Does anyone else sneeze when they go outside into bright sunlight?

I think the implied premise of this article that the young will "catch up" with retirees is quite flawed. Not saying there aren't issues here but anyone in their 20s and 30s will not be as well off as most are in their 60s and 70s.

A few notes:
Own music, do not rent.
I'm buying CDs from smaller labels directly. Cheaper than Scamazon sometimes. A couple examples: https://metalblade.indiemerch.com/collections/cds https://metalonmetalrecords.com/shop/
My library has loaned me many CDs over the years. I still have an external CD burner I can connect to my PC. Thank you, library.
Used media stores are awesome. Give them your business.

I think there's a "right" way to do this and a "temporary" way to do this.

Temporary: Paint with a brush and jam paint into the cracks to fill them. Paint again if necessary.

Right: Remove wallpaper. Paint. This will be MUCH more work and could lead to replacing the drywall which could uncover mold or other problems in the walls and turn "just painting" into a MAJOR PROJECT.

The choice is yours.

I like my fe-mah-lays like I like my ta-mah-lays. Steaming hot and wrapped in corn husks!

Right?!? Guys?!?

Given that there were 2 world wars in the early 1900s and that I like tech in general I would also choose 12/31/1949. At least I might have a PC sometime in my lifetime and I'd probably live to use it and not be a corpse on some beach somewhere.

When pay significantly lags the cost of basics you're gonna have a bad time.

And inflation was more than 3% last month? Still adding insult to injury.

Serious question: Is the difference more apparent IRL (not a picture)? I'm not seeing a big enough difference that I'd spend much more for OLED.

I was surprised when I was quitting smoking that my friend (who also smoked) was advocating vaping instead. I asked: Why not just quit completely?

I do think vaping is less dangerous than actually smoking but not doing either one is best for your health. Even getting "hooked" on nicotine gum or similar is better than smoking or vaping. But again, best to just quit nicotine / smoking / vaping completely.

I agree.

Time truly is our greatest resource as people and getting some back instead of driving is fantastic.

It is very difficult to find manual transmission in a passenger car in the US now. I would like one but good luck finding what you want used. Even new, very few models have a manual option. And I think it costs more for a manual transmission now. It used to be cheaper.
