Let me raise you: Pop!_OS
Last night I finally finished MGS The Twin Snakes, and soon about to be starting MGS2. Was pretty fun even if I had no idea what I was doing most of the time.
It gets the number that's ringing and compares it to a database it downloaded. It's not doing anything with your sensitive data.
At most if you decide to check online reviews against a number it'll search the phone number online, but you get a warning beforehand and you don't have to do that.
On Twitter I see a lot more people shitting on Series S|X than PS5, now I'm no Microsoft fan but that console has far superior backwards compatibility to begin with, and they have plenty of older games with "FPS boost". Sony doesn't seem to want to do this and I don't get why, it's entirely possible and would probably help PS5 sales.
Worst part is you just know Sony will go out of their way to try and patch around this.
I don't know where you are, but in Europe it's much cheaper to buy a used Gasoline car. I just got a 1L petrol car for the equivalent of $10k, I can't find a good electric car for anywhere close to that.
Gonna run my 90s Toyota until it's physically impossible
I might put it towards ad removal for Sync for Lemmy, haven't fully decided yet.
I'm liking lemmy.one. federates with big instances, rarely downtime, and downvotes are disabled.
I like FOSS apps, but if a closed source app is better I'm going to use it. Oh no Sync has ads! Pay to remove ads and all the Google tracking is gone.
A lot of people came to Lemmy because Spez is a cunt and Lemmy is the closest replacement to Reddit, not because they bum off FOSS.
Also, dude you have an Xbox, that literally is spyware. By your own logic, you should be running DRM free open-source games on a Linux OS that doesn't have any closed-source launchers.
I am currently using a Galaxy Fold 3.
I'm torn between "I can never go back to a normal phone this is amazing" and "this is fragile and has crap battery and a normal phone would be better".
I don't like iOS. I have one as my work phone and I dislike it.
I dislike that I can't sideload apps (yes there's testflight but it sucks). A huge portion of apps I use are from F-Droid or GitHub. I dislike how iOS handles the home screen and app placements. I absolutely HATE iOS notifications, they're atrocious compared to how they're handled on Android.
I like Android, I like my Galaxy Fold, a lot would have to change for me to ever consider an iPhone.
A lot of brands have their own migration, like Samsung and OnePlus. Their apps will auto move over all contacts, files, apps, settings. What brand are you moving to, they might have one?
