This entire series is just a long game commercial for Apple's next product, a holographic projector. Their vision goggles failed so miserably that they are doing a 180 to a device that sits on the floor and goes nowhere near your head. This was the first generation prototype. You can tell because it has pretty blue and green lights. Soon everyone in the world will have one.

I remember a time when texting was first introduced, you could only text people who used the same phone company as you.
When they made it interoperable they made a big deal out of it. They mailed a sheet of stickers with my cell number on them. They wanted you to give them out to friends to encourage them to text you.

I'm so mad they're dripping season 2 in episodes one week at a time.
LEDs kind of blow me away in general. People will look back at this period and be like, "they sure did love putting LED lights on top of and on the sides of their skyscrapers just for show".
I scheduled a bunch of text to go out at midnight and they were fine. I do remember a time when both calling and texting would be delayed!
I had one of these when I was a kid! I wish I kept it.
I mean I primarily use Usenet to find anything I want.
