If Piastri went first then there was a chance Hamilton would have undercut Norris
It was the right strategy call to pit Norris first to cover Hamilton.. and it was agreed beforehand that Norris will have to give the position back to Piastri

Had max and the team decided to let him drive a few more laps albeit the smoke coming from the rears.. absolutely would have caught fire on the tracks
F1 brakes are air cooled..
so it was precisely because he slowed down entering the pit and did not have enough (fast moving) air to cool the brakes
