I have to disagree here, I’ve been running endeavourOS for the last two years on my work notebook and it has been very stable. Granted my system broke once when i was messing with stuff i should not have messed with (GPU switching).

I guess people don’t need it. But there are nice efficiency gains when automating certain parts of the home like heating or cooling.

For me its solely because of a ad free experience on my TV, since its the primary device I’m using it on. And i got it relatively cheap from turkey so it's not that big of a deal. I might reevaluate if the price increases though.
