I just got a new job lately. My position is sorta a unicorn position so my new company has been searching for 6 + months. The reason being is that they now require the person to come in 3 times a week in downtown San Francisco. That basically eliminated 99.999999% of people who aren't walking distance from their office.

To get around the 3 times a week in the office, my manager changed the position into a contractor position. Even then it took 2 months to find me.

So because the CEO was a dumbass, his growth team is not running at full potential. Losing more money than he would have made in his real estate property.

Early pandemic, I bought 4x 3D printers and started a print farm to make PPE masks for doctors. I was cranking out around 60-80 pieces a day.

After the shortage was over, I ended up donating it to my buy nothing group.

I bought and own Civ 6 for Android. I tried to play it on a flight and was pissed because it requires an active internet connection.

So I own a pirated version of it now.

My 6 year old son loves the shit out of that car. I wish it wasn't made by a twat CEO

I lived on Long Island and was in 3rd or 4th grade. I was invited to a friend's house to play and right before I entered the door, the dad stuck his leg out and blocked me from coming in.

He bent down and looked squared in the eye and asked "Where you from, kid?"

Ummm.... "Taiwan, sir"

He quickly smiled and said "alright, I did some RNR there. You good people".

I later found out that he doesn't let anyone from Vietnam in the house.
