Down another 5% today puts it negative over the last 6 months.

They are moving to at least limited assigned seating. If you fly a lot, their rewards program is still pretty lucrative especially if you can hit companion pass.

Turns out he maybe fucked either way!

It's now down 18.5% on the day! I wouldn't be surprised if Elon has used a lot of his shares to guarantee loans that will now come due.

And this was on high volume (2-2.5x normal volume). I wonder how many loans are guaranteed with TSLA stock.

I know some will say correction, but this feels like an aggressive sell off. Avg volume is 86M, today's 185M.

Tesla is down 14% today, it's down almost 50% since Jan 21st. Maybe this is trump trying to get rid of Elon?

Is this sarcasm? Sponsorships are not the same as ads.

They didn't cause the Great depression, but they did make it worse.

Agreed. A few weeks ago I spent the time to sand smooth 3 of my lodges and they are way more nonstick after 3-4 uses than they were before and way easier to clean. I just used 80 grit on a dynafile, took about 15 minutes to sand them smooth (wear a mask). Then 2-3 runs through the oven to re season and they were good to go.

That right turn lane has a light on it. It's next to the ped crossing.

Just so everyone knows. Child poverty went down because Dems had enough power to expand the child tax credit as part of Bidens American rescue plan. The expanded credit then expired and Republicans have blocked passage of the renewed expansion. This is another thing where Republicans will do anything to harm Democrats including voting against extremely popular programs. I agree that it sucks the poverty went back up, but Dems reduced it and Republicans increased it.

I can't find a solid confirmation but it looks like as part of the law killing the strike and enacting the recommendations of the emergency board, the attendance rules creating points was vacated without further agreements from the unions. So from what I can tell, your statement is incorrect. I looked up the emergency board's recommendations but I didn't do a deep dive into the law to confirm. Link to the recommendations below.

If they did nothing then why did the IBEW thank them for the effort? Yea they didn't get everything they asked for, that's how negotions work. The people that were effected thanked the Biden admin, why don't you believe them? Also according to Reuters, most get 5 paid sick days + 2 convertibles.

Small VPN Access Device? (self.selfhosted)
submitted 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) by jj122 to c/selfhosted@lemmy.world

I think this fits the rules but If this doesnt let me know and I'll delete. Hey all, Overall problem statement: I'm looking for a small device (SBC if available) that I can use as a tail scale access point for travel and I'm hoping someone has done something similar. Basically I would like to have something small enough that I can toss in my travel bag that I can hook into a hotel network and have access to my home services (mainly jellyfin) on my kindle/work laptop. Not all of my devices support VPN or tailscale and having them already on a known network with built in VPN makes it 10x easier to deal with when traveling (login into hotel WiFi with a kindle Paperwhite sucks!) Ideally it would have dual gig Ethernet and built in WiFi. If this works out well enough I would like to give a few of these to the family so they can access things as well, so cost is a bit important.

I found a banana pi R3-mini that I thought would work out of the box (wifi6 + dual gig + small) but it seems too new for full software support with tail scale and I don't currently have the skills to roll my own software for it. Is there anything out there that you all have used for this type of use case?

I know I can switch to wire guard but I'm not confident I can set that up securely and reliably but if that's my only option I think I did find a good guide.

So I'm at a crossroads of learning to build my own openwrt install with the correct packages, learning how to setup wire guard, or asking for recommendations.

Edit: Thanks for all the recommendations. Looks like openwrt has released a new build for the banana pi that I have so I'm going to try that again before trying to setup wire guard. The GL.inet devices look like they have an older version of openwrt, so they support tailscale via the openwrt package manager but it can be unstable. Some people have even called it alpha on those devices. So I'm hoping the newest version on the bpi-r3 will allow a more stable tailscale. I'll try to report back once I play around with it more.
