Isn't this this the point of this community? To say we don't agree with this reasoning, whether locking people out of repairs is a good business model or not, it's one that some people don't agree with.

I'm guessing the joke here is that due to iPhones having text and icons in the same places on many screens this leads to more cases of Screen Burn-in. Contributing to OpenStreetMap. I try to bring it up because it would be great to get more contributors to the project, but either I have to explain "It's Wikipedia, but a map" or they come out with misunderstandings about the project that aren't worth correcting. E.g not liking the icons used to display points on the map.

My understanding would be that the case only covers whether they broke Fair Use when they created the National Emergency Library (when they started lending out multiple digital copies of one physical book). Although the case going not in their favour would help future case against the one book-one loan policy they currently use. I own an Onyx Boox Air, but sadly can't recommend it as Onyx refuse to comply with the Linux kernel license and don't publish their changes. Not only is this a dick move it means custom ROMs and hacking is not likely to happen.

Is it an unavoidable situation that projects that are run by passionate individuals will burn those people out? Or is their more projects can do to ask those that contribute the most to slow down and not put the work before themselves?
