They consider foss products out of this requirement , only when the contributors are volunteers who are not working or are employed by a company !! Or get a corporate donation, if even one person contributing to the project is a corporate employee they need to go with the crazy rules they have laid !!

I wonder if I am developing an app for lemmy and I am based in EU , am I obligated to get an external vulnerability audit done , or pay a 15.million euro fine , since I am working for a corporate with a full time job?

Since the EU is bringing an act , that needs the products distributed to be flawless , and it applies to open source products too , if a single of their contributor / donor works for a corporate , what will be the future of FOSS in europe with this ?

Totally firefox , librewolf is rather a hardened firefox , with few features we can tweak in FF already !

Many employers in my country are now just giving a raise to their senior executives , management and above , while keeping the low level employee wages stagnant !

They were never a test to evade bots to begim with, most capchas were used to train machine learning algorithms to train the bots on ! Just because it was manual labour google got it done for free , using this bullshit captcha thingy ! We sort of trained bots to read obsucre texts , and kinda did the labour for corps for free !

Thats exactly what I thought , there are a bun of me issues with the author and seems like he has not even tried to get to understand lemmy,

TLDR: the article says , lemmy is confusing , too broken and kinda unusable coz servers run on whims.

While I have been active here since a month now , I have had nothing but only a positive experience on lemmy , what about you guys ?

I was wondering , if you will be ready to work fof an organisation that you oppose ideologically , for instance you are against big oil but you get a job interview in exxonmobil with good pay , would you consider it ?

*Edit : Recently a friend of mine got a marketing job for a company that had shady business practices , selling their product to gullible parents. Since it was a marketing job , the pay was good but my friend left it within a week , saying it does not suit his ideology.
