You mean Convicted Rapist Brock Turner, now going by the name of Convicted Rapist Allen Turner, who was sentenced to six months but only served three for what his father called (and I quote) "twenty minutes of action"? That Convicted Rapist Brock Allen Turner?

You're probably underestimating how much hard work it really is to live off the land.

In the context of the OOP I think it's obnoxious, but people who baldly objectify women tend to be obnoxious, so I can't say I'm surprised. I wish they'd knock it off.

"Female" is appropriate as an adjective: I need a female hose adaptor or My primary care doctor is female or Female cats don't spray the way male cats do. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any case in which "female" should be used as a noun - except I guess it's common in healthcare and law enforcement (though still grammatically incorrect).

It seems like "woman" is a hard word to use for some people. I'm not sure why. This also gets into the "woman" vs "girl" thing, which in my view is much more demeaning than "female." We're not children for fuck's sake!

I should mention that some women aren't bothered by "female" or "girl," which is completely their prerogative.

When I click on links like the one circled below, nothing happens at all.

~~There are some instances which I'd like to block entirely. I think this is on the Lemmy development roadmap, but until it's implemented, can we pretty please have the ability to do this through Jerboa? I'm still browsing all communities as a way of finding new communities to subscribe to, but there are some instances whose content I never want to see and they clutter up my feed. Blocking each individual community from these instances is a pain; there should be a better solution available.~~

~~Thanks for your consideration!~~

Sorry guys I had a massive brain fart, I already posted a request about this a week ago. For some reason I can't delete this post so please ignore!

Trying to expand comments (e.g., 3 additional responses in the pic below) is causing the app to crash.

I'd love to be able to block an entire instance. Can this please be added to Jerboa?

I think reddit probably prefers that the hate is concentrated on spez. In their view, a giant FUCK SPEZ is probably way better than a giant FUCK REDDIT.

I'd like to start a community for greyhounds, whippets, and all other peanut-brained sighthounds. It doesn't exist yet and I can't figure out how to create a new community in Jerboa.

Chin pimples? (lemmy.ml)
submitted 1 year ago by klemptor@lemmy.ml to c/menopause@lemmy.world

I've started to get these really deep pimples on my chin. They don't have a head and they seem to just stay there forever. I've always had pretty clear skin minus the occasional regular pimple so I don't know what to do about these. I'm assuming this is part of peri? Have any of you successfully gotten rid of these?

I'm seeing an error intermittently while scrolling through my feed - see red circle above. I'm not sure how to make a bug report but wanted to let someone know.

I promise I'm not an idiot, but I can't figure out how to create a community via Jerboa. I did it once a few weeks ago with no problem, but I don't remember where the option to do this was. Can anyone let me know where to look?

I would've expected it to be in the hamburger menu here, but clicking on that menu does nothing:

Thanks in advance!
