yeah its just an arch based linux distro with a custom gamemode, although by default it's read-only so you can only install flatpaks. you can get around that if you need to.

vlc sucks for music because it doesn't have gapless playback, and not everyone wants to use a streaming service.

Also buy used, I just got a pair of WH-1000XM3s that still have the original case for $100. The ANC is so much better than any new $100 headphones and the battery life is still great.

Random Access Memories is such a good album, pretty much every song on there is timeless imo.

Yeah the nes and snes classic, also nintendo switch online gives you access to some nes, snes, n64, and gameboy/gba games with emulation.

I did try running foobar under wine but it just sucked, I have also tried deadbeef but its really lacking features and the GUI sucks. I ended up using musicbee through wine, it was a hassle to setup but now it just works for me and I like it better than foobar.

Heroic is currently the best option imo, it at least has cloud saves and updates.

last.fm? each time you play a track it "scrobbles" it. kinda a dumb name but I like it 😁

Other than VR sadly, but it's really damn good for everything else I do. If only I didn't have an Nvidia card though it's given me so many headaches. >:(
