You don't just have to jump to kill -9 like that. At least give the misbehaving program a chance to get it's affairs in order and a chance to say goodbye to it's children with a standard kill command.

Amazing work that guy is doing protecting png files in games and 2D art. Certainly he will be rewarded for saving the precious ink, paper, and bits. I'm assuming that not seeking out content that offends him is too much to ask?
