True, your twitter example exemplifies it for me. When i used it a lot, like 7 years ago, it was for knowing and meeting people in my zone and interest range. Now it feels like tik tok. It's so unpersonal.

Shiet, i'm sorry for that. Even I, that lives in a pretty mild place (normal summer not above 35c and normal winter not below like 10c), had summer in april nd that shit went up to 38c this year. The changes are definetely being felt lol.

I don't know man, I think that the realm of money and commerce does need some higher regulation, at least for security. But I don't know, maybe my brain is still too primitive to get something like that. I would first try social networks and then see if it can be done with money and physical goods.

Luckily each instance has its own feel. The one i am in now doesn't have that meme. But everytime i go to all i get spammed by beans from lemmy world lol. That said, like every meme it's gonna die, just give it to the end of the week lol.

I haven't, because boost somehow still works on it, but after finding the Jerboa app that feels so much like boost, understanding a little more about the instances and all, picking one that i liked, and seeing that the lemmy community is much more interesting. I am just scrolling here now.
