Also I feel if this happened under a dem president the news would cover it and would include deeper information about why. That being said, I'd predict that when the next dem president is voted in and this needs to be addressed, we'll get much more information about why it matters.

I predict with immigration crack downs we'll eventually see some more resistance to that. At some point, either by ambush or chance occurrence, ICE agents will be attacked and possibly killed. Trump will horrifically overstep in his response. Then it will just be escalating responses.
