I find it a lot scarier now

I came at 12.01 and saw there was already a thread

I really hope not

I’ve just seen something about everyone getting age verified for social media, not just kids. Not sure if it’s a reliable source but it’s got me a bit worried. I really don’t want to link my government id to social media.

I might have to download all my pics just in case I don’t get let back in. Overwhelming prospect.

I think you get two free hard rubbish collections a year? Or am I making that up… maybe check with your council and use it as a backup option

This was still bugging me so I looked it up. Yeah that’s likely a universal remote (works on tvs dvd players and other things) which can also be synced to garage doors by the owner.

I think old mate possibly racked it from someone’s car.

What happens if you feed them Pop Rocks?

No worries, I don’t know if any of it is fact but you hear or read things.

I really hope you stay safe

The remote may be a generic one used to see if it opens garage doors to get into houses. The gloves, tools and more keys than one person could reasonably own do suggest break ins.

I know a neighbour had an intruder a few years ago and when they got arrested cops found the person had stolen his keys. So that’s probably it. They might take them intending to come back.

The socks may be used to tie the arm off for injecting, or a spare pair. But with the filters and syringes there it’s probably the former.

Baffled by the plug in light (is that what that is?) but maybe it’s hands free lighting that wouldn’t be too bright.

Perhaps the cops might like a look but not sure what they can do if nothing has happened yet.

Perhaps you might like to babysit a nice loud doggo for a little while til things are less sketchy.

Edit: Security camera is also a great idea if possible

I’m wondering if it’s very smart to be feeding the magpies and encouraging them around with bird flu going on. Especially with an elderly cat. I can’t find much about the situation in Australia.

I shouldn’t worry but I see they’ve been dropping feathers and pooping in the back yard, and if I tracked something in and gave Melbcat a treat off the floor… Normally I remove my shoes at the door but my guests don’t. And I’ve been a bit slack myself sometimes.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, carpet is gross.

Edit: I still haven’t decided if it’s ok to provide water in Summer. I would but you’re meant to be cleaning it frequently at the best of times and I’m not able to manage. There is water they can get elsewhere.

Melbcat has been wrangled for her meds… she’s forgiven me and is now curled up as the little spoon
