Latest fedora workstation, amd gpu, on 8 year old dell laptop. Although I have used many other distros too.
I read about "how much Crap there is in windows" and thought linux should be much smoother to run on my laptop. But it turns out to be the opposite. Firefox for windows works much better than Firefox for linux. For me windows just works. Linux even without telemetry struggles to perform as good as windows.
My opinion is Choice is an illusion. There isn't much to choose from. Its all unix like.
I think polymc and pollymc are two different things.
But it was inspired by true stories.

Fedora linux: If Microsoft does this why not us?
Incognito is useless though, it hides your history from only you. Google stores, ISP stores, that site stores, just your browser forgets.
It can't be better than Gnome or KDE but it will be very different for sure.
