nonexistent. i wasn't really taught much of anything about Germany except what led up to WWII and even then it was heavily edited and summarized. i had to find out the lengthy history for myself and do my own research.

i understand your hesitation and i commend your approach to others' sensibilities. however, i wouldn't consider "why are many americans racist" to be racist, because American isn't a race. it is a nationality. but even without that, you are specifying within the group and also excluding. you aren't calling all Americans racist, you are asking why there are a lot of racist Americans. truly, that is a fair question of any people. if your culture is racist.. why?

forgive my ignorance, but it seems you are asking why Americans are racist but explaining it in a way where you think it means something else, like you're talking about a unique kind of racism more common with Americans. genetic superiority is not more common of an idea here than anywhere else. the people who see white and black as you put it, "two different species," are ultimately how all racists see the world. they might not be equally as violent or aggressive or outwardly hateful, but they would never consider themselves like one of them. maybe i'm not following you and what you're asking lol, sorry if so.

RIP - this is kinda hitting me more than normal because i loved this song as a closeted kid. it became more special to me as i grew older. aside from the song being catchy and fun it celebrated same-sex attraction during a time i felt alone and unsafe. thanks, jill sobule.

you ever think about that? imagine if you could section out a cube of space and remove every single “thing” within it. take out all the particles, leave a complete void. you would still be left with the remnants of the universe; a quantum foam of could-be and probability. the foundations of physics still remain. absolutely fascinating.

anyway, the universe is unfathomable and we are delusional and arrogant for thinking we can understand it. and thank god for that because we wouldn’t be making the progress we are.

thanks for the info, you're right. well, that's a bit of a relief for me then. still not great lol.. just means the disease isn't an international disaster impacting several communities. i hope our vaccines against it continue to be successful.

we are still in a pandemic so though, perhaps not “raging.” maybe that’s too alarmist. i’ll pull back on that, but.. it is still at levels indicative of a pandemic last i was aware.

i can list a bunch of bad COVID related decisions he made, sure. one of the worst imo is overseeing the CDC as it told Americans to get back to work earlier and reporting was no longer necessary, all during the pandemic ~~still raging like it currently is.~~

edit: it is endemic now, not a pandemic

genocide doesn't have to be a violent extermination. you can take away resources until they die or, hey, kill themselves! nobody to blame, nobody to care. it'll keep happening until numbers are significantly reduced with other attacks on LGBT livelihood. this isn't just Trump being a fucking asshole; this is a fascist wanting us gone.

special thanks to Biden not taking it seriously and then Trump for firing scientists studying the virus. ya'll are great!!! 😍

stop saying this stupid shit about third parties. you could argue the same point for Conservatives who didn’t vote Trump. also which is it—are leftists so numerous they are a problem and ruin everything or are we small and useless and unimportant?

i wouldn’t organize it here i’m just venting out of frustration. and yes, we do need violence.

Chloe and Theo have been attached since I adopted him with my partner ~2.5 years ago. He does enjoy beating her up though lol. I have to take him off her every so often because he likes to wrestle when she’s not in the mood. They’re both super affectionate to each other and us.
