I really hate when native English speakers use could of or would of. It makes no sense and sounds completely wrong, yet some people claim it's just a minor mistake.
My GPU had a shitty blower cooler, switching to water-cooling made my system so much more quiet!
This is not how umlauts and layouts work
That one works as well, but I dislike the way quotes work on that keyboard. I never got used to that.
If you use the keyboard for desktop mode:
- Open system settings
- Navigate to "Input Devices", "Keyboard"
- Go to the "Layout" tab
- "Configure Layouts", then "Add"
- Add "German (US)"
- Switch the layout on the "Taskbar" on the bottom right of the screen.
You can then use Umlaute like on any German keyboard, plus on the "a,U,o" keys themselves when you press AltGr (right alt). Any Sonderzeichen are like in the American layout. If you want to change that just use the normal German layout instead of German (US).
There is no way to change the layout of physical keyboards in the gaming mode. Those settings don't change anything in the gaming mode and but the gaming mode settings only work for the on screen keyboard.
Bonus Umlaut of the day: Ö
It's because people aren't wired that way. There's a name for that phenomenon, but I forgot.
The idea behind it is that people make up "reasons" (conspiracy strategies) that fit the event. A big event needs a big reason, they can't just accept that some things happen due to accidents or just by chance.
That's why Covid can't have been natural, it must have escaped from a lab! The government is giving us free vaccines? It can't be that they just want to get us back to work, there must be a secret plot behind that!
Society has to pay any healthcare stuff that's caused by smoking. An earlier death and the resulting savings for the retirement fund is not enough to outweigh that.
I've heard "My dad is a lawyer" works for some people, but YMMV
I alegedly YouTube music and premium is super cheap if you VPN from Argentina or türkey. At least that's what I heard (alegedly)
I'd say standing 1m in front off a bass wall with your friends at 5 in the morning.
