I've got until mid-January at the latest to find a new place to live and it's fucking torture.

1750 for a damn basement and the landleech just chickened out because I asked for proof that the place was actually legal cuz I can't get tenant's insurance + the landlord tenant board won't help you in the event of some kind of dispute + a failed bylaw inspection could evict me. He replied saying the place was "not right for me". So I'm calling bylaw inspection on his ass to prevent other desperate fools like me from accidentally illegally/informally renting. And I just got ghosted by the company that was supposed to show me my other 2 options.

I fr don't know what I'm gonna do and I feel like I've fallen out of a tree and am hitting every branch on the way down, and then I have to get up and go to work and do my very best not to stress-cry.

Goddamn. This just hardens my resolve to finally give up on IT and devote my life to studying and working in conservation. People are like "there's no money in public lands" and I'm like yeah well there's no decent money and security to be found literally anywhere in this dump country including the trades, at least I can live off grant money studying something I love.
