I've always perceived Americans as very curse word friendly people. Not like Australians of course, but still very accepting of it.

I find it fascinating how in the United States police radio communications aren't encrypted and therefore anyone can listen to them. In my European country all emergency service communications are TETRA encrypted.

I live in a southern European country where smoking is widespread and I try to avoid going inside coffee shops because it reeks of smoke.

I mean, I can tolerate it pretty well but I'd rather avoid it.
