When it's riced, seasoned, and cooked up a bit 🙂

Working through Cyberpunk & DLC and Lords of the Fallen (2023). Cyberpunk is probably the most beautiful game I've played with the path tracing updates. LOTF is a pretty competent souls clone. Got some interesting ideas. I hope they continue to patch it as quickly as they are to bring it up to par.

Really appreciating all the patches. For the love of all that is holy I hope they fix the NG+ "gimmick."

I have a 4090 and a i9-10850k @ 5440x1440. With frame gen it's vsynced to my monitor at 120fps solid. Without, it's about 70-100 depending on the scene. Both at ultra. Better performance than Remnant 2 on release for me - by quite a bit. Reducing some of the more advanced settings (like the "ray tracing" enabled with GI and reflections) helps boost that 70 min.

That's correct. Though it has some interesting mechanics of its own, it's very much a "souls like."

Game seems to be running a little better, and I'm glad to be able to force enable frame gen. Only about 3 hours in but enjoying it so far.

It says that in the graphics description for both of those options (reflections and global illumination). While I think those being separate toggles should have helped being able to work with graphics options (and optimize for your device) should be a basic requirement for playing on a PC

That requires OEM unlocking (and therefore a wipe of the device, no?). ADB side loading can achieve the same without unlocking or sacrificing security

In our playthrough my buddy was the one playing Karlach, and she was the one that went full illithid. That choice ended up "saving" her and she had a special note of dialogue at the end about having the opportunity to live now.

Is the panorama mode still there? I haven't used spheres in ages, but panoramas all the time.

Edit: Just got mine in and Panorama is infact still there.

Awesome. I've used the original version for a while and it makes a big difference. Some of the textures in Cyberpunk are bizarrely low resolution by default.

Likewise. I'd love a "CarPG" with the open world of Horizon, with the mechanics of Motorsport, and the profession of... Well, no game that I know of. As much as I enjoy Horizon, getting supercars thrown at you left and right removes all sense of progression for me.
