Ronald McDonald has been trying every damn day.
They made their point when they started holding random European tourists for weeks or months without cause. No amount of Disney princess is worth that family trauma potential.
Ford is behaving reasonably. If it was anybody else in the receiving end this would be good news and we could hope for a compromise and resolution.
The best this is going to do is result in another month “pause” until the goalposts get moved again on something else.
Ford finally found a useful way to channel his inner blowhard. And I’m here for it.
I wonder if he’ll be swapping Trudeau’s “let’s get back to being allies” message for a stronger first impression.
