Man, I should revisit this album.

Huh, that’s actually surprisingly slow to me. With a bit of training anyone under forty with a bit of an active lifestyle should be able to do sub 4h00 (=5:41 min/km or 9:09 min/mi). Then again, I know that running a marathon at all is a goal for quite some people, but still.

Ok lol, my point remains exactly the same and I think your viewpoint is incredibly reductive.

That’s fair, and not an unreasonable choice. What I can’t get over is people acting like that’s the only reasonable choice, and that people who have children are idiots.

Just look around in this thread and you’ll see some smug ass attitudes. It kind of reminds me of those 14 year old kids who feel immensely smart because they’re atheist, you know?

Clearly not the point of OP’s question though

Lol, this has clearly been translated from Dutch in its entirety - the title, the snippet of the article and the tweet.

Having seen it around, I absolutely hate this screenshot. The implicit message is that 4chan was/is actually good and cool, while that hasn’t been the case for a while (if it ever was). Like yeah, it’s somewhat stupid that she thought 4chan has accounts, but the point that the site is utter trash is true.

/mu/ used to be good tho

…and you just wouldn’t get hired, because the guy who lives next to their office is a more attractive option, even if he’s only 80% as productive as you.

And that’s arguably why it makes some sense; companies would be more likely to hire more locally and be more flexible about remote work - both of which save precious planetary resources ánd people’s time.

This is something your unfunny aunt would post on Facebook
