And the crowd goes mild. Google shouldn't expect to compete with Galaxy Watch 6 and Apple Watch when they've figured out the bezel game.
Hopefully the massive bezel gets trimmed.
Sync. It was the exclusive way I browsed Reddit. Having foldable support day 1 was a big push. I have no issues with supporting the developer for an app I've been using for well more than a half decade now.
Samsung's implementation of their Android skin is still pretty jank on their tablets. I wouldn't call it explicitly worse than stock, but enough things are done differently that it's noticeable.
A lot of the reasons why I used to root simply don't exist anymore. Personally, I haven't unlocked the bootloader or installed a custom ROM since maybe Nexus 4. Plus now, as others have said rooting your device makes most financial related apps stop working.
Why can't I just use the service that has a design I like?
I wouldn't have used reddit if it wasn't for sync and that same logic applies to lemmy. Adoption is critical for lemmy to succeed so please tone it down a bit, unless having the same 2 dozen people in your community was your personal appealing feature of lemmy.
Nothing is. I'm currently writing this post on one. I will consider that weight is a big issue, one I wish was spoken of more than the plethora of reporters and journalists upset that Instagram, famously known for not having an iPad app, also doesn't have foldable support. I really like my Pixel Fold regardless.
