Last time we tried and succeeded in send some of the most progressive representatives to the House. They did run on a Democratic ticket but were far to the left of anything that Democrats have ever stood for. Democrats co-opted them, used them to increase their progressive credentials and then sidelined them.

Democratic party is not a left leaning or even a centrist party. Most of right wing policy of Republican presidency is continued by the Democratic presidency.

I thot nothing will b accomplished when there was a chance Harris could have won but now it is in the worse category.

US doesn't have a centrist or left leaning party. It is either centre right or a far right party. If a party is only counting the right wing vote it is but obvious that a far right would be much more appealing than a centre right.

That leaves the centrist and left leaning populace without a voice. People can berate them for not choosing a right wing party to avoid far right getting power. But that just glosses over the fact that there is no representation of them in either direction.

Why is no one discussing Dems have lost the senate and given a bigger majority in the house to Republicans. Even without Trump they are bound to control house and the senate.

Stand by for nothing happening for the next 2 years or worse.

In a presidential democracy she has all the power if she wants it.

Only way you'll see a real check on America or China's power is through a world War which everyone rightfully wants to avoid.

Toppling elected governments, propping up dictators, attacking countries without reason, suppoting terrorists all in the name of self interest.
