I'm looking to replace the default theme but whenever I look at repos etc, it's all just a swath of reskins of random stuff.

I want something that has the ability to add the smart playlists (like recently added) from the jellyfin plugin so it can show on the home page. But something that actually has a use-able UI.

Any recommendations?

Embury is by far the best one I've found but the filter/sort/options icons are too far "right" so if I want to change the audio language I need to press right 6 times, instead of pressing left once (no wrapping around). Or quickly show only unwatched EPs/movies.
The icons and text are also too small at 55" While I gripe about it, it's by far the best one I've found. I just wish it was more customisable to fix my gripes

It’s so good.

It really is! Thanks for the post!

It could also identify your voice and recognize you and your ad preferences, and those of your passengers.

Why...

This was quite fun leaning about the "old" internet relics

The-Eye has already backed up all of Subscene into a torrent. Only 90GB.

Download the backup and never need to find subs (for older content) again

The trek show was too trekky? So we removed the trek so now it's just a show

The devs just said fuckit afterwards, as you do when you get a lawsuit saying your about to be so far in debt because of your side project that your whole life will be turned up side down.

I would have done the same.

Osmand+ is the pro version of Open Street Map which has great trails.
It's free via fdroid on android.

They are no more safe than sending a message like this :). Except you would be the only person it's targeted for. besides the admins of both instances can read them as well.

Which is why I'm the web interface it says it's not safe/e2e encrypted.

Worried about it? Add a matrix handle to your profile and then it enables a "send a secure message" button in the UI. And redirects people to use matrix to send messages to you

It is because you are resisting fingerprinting. You have to allow fingerprinting to watch twitch in a browser now.

Honestly, chatterio & streamlink is a way better combo.

Riseup is free because it is made by people who want the internet to be better. The same way tor is free.

But you should be donating if you find it useful. And I could nearly guarantee that a service that is used for censorship resistance that gets used for P2P will go from nice and fast to ungodly slow

Technically you should be donating if you get value out of it

The liftoff app has the ability to show multiple accounts across multiple instances.

Also... Lemmy.world has/will become the default at this point in time. When you eventually get big enough you even up having to cater for the "laws".

Are they defederating from instances that are neutral as well? Or defed'ing from the privacy instances?
