I believe that the money 'demanded' was for the for-profit organization Automattic. Wordpress (i.e. Matt) then tries to make it all about the Foundation. This seems to be false and a ruse to make it seem like a non-profit is fighting a company.

This is a dispute between WPEngine and Automattic.

This is kinda on you, you chose to visit hexbear. Just block that instance. And while you are at it, also block lemygrad.

Remains the question: why the self-flagellation?

Trump was pointing out that she is also Indian.

This is not what I saw, he was claiming she only identified as Indian and now suddenly is black. He presented it as a 'flip' on race identification. So no 'also' was meant here, you are injecting soft wording to cover up something, what it is I can only guess at. You do seem obsessed by what race Kamala is though. And not out of interest either it seems, you are presenting some weird obsessive line where Kamala is lying about or dismissing some part of her heritage?

What could be your driver to be so obsessed by what was presented to you by a racist guy and feel the need to run with that racist lying twisted line?

This is a bit weird to me. The FIA changed the rules after an exceptional talent came into F1: Max Verstappen
Now they want to change the rules because an exceptional talent might come in and you want a loophole for that.

This is borderline schizophrenic to me. You change the rules after an exceptional talent, how is that ruling not contradicting your current actions?

Very happy for Charles!

But something needs to happen to this race. As it is now it is a Saturday race with qualifying, the race on Sunday is negligible, boring even.

I strongly disagree. All lobbying is wrong and could be considered bribery. At a minimum it is circumventing democracy. We see a case in front of us and see what happens in broad daylight, what you call bribery. Do you honestly belief this is a rare case or can we say this (lobbying) is not a transparent part of the process and thus an incentive to bribe/coerce politicians?

But I understand that the system is what it is atm and lots of people have been accustomed to it, up to the point of defending it.

Karting competitors, child prodigies, expectations of slugging it out between the two in F1, hopeful for many wins when getting that Ferarri seat, had a sniff of combat with Max early 2022 laced with championship hopes, the list goes on and on.

It must be nothing but painful and depressing, standing at that gate and seeing Max take another checkbox on his scorecard. Two (and a third on the way) world championships in the bag, record breaking stats.

I'm imagining this of course but you could almost hear his thoughts: "this is not how it was supposed to be..."

Truly heartbreaking for Charles.

probably will bolster the opinions of the cult members

Is there anything to 'un-bolster' or can we say that these people are indeed a cult and cannot be reasoned with and are solidly stuck in their commitment. A cult is perfectly capable of bolstering themselves, they need no help.

People outside that cult should try and stop entertaining the idea that they will potentially get worse by your actions or ideas. Cult ideology should never stop you in pursuing your own ideals and thoughts. They certainly will not be.

Before ‘both sides’ starts kicking in, this violent rhetoric is a pure republican tactic

Cars do not eject passengers violently onto the road. Safety belt laws try to prevent that from happening and it works rather good. So you still get to drive but there are regulations to prevent the human factor of causing to be ejected from cars.

I dunno if this makes sense to you, maybe not the best comparison but it popped into my head suddenly.
