Probably that if possible, you can link to original article from itsfoss. And possibly for all such news ( unless its overly bloated / behind a paywall )
Tried it in debian today. Yeah, its bad that the app need to be open inorder to have connection. They could've made it go background ( like telegram or discord does ), which would be better.
Right now, this feature is client specific. Some have it ( like Sync ), most dont.
The happy news is , a serverside option to block an instance is already merged and will be available in next (big) Lemmy upgrade 19.0. After that, the client apps will easily be able to implement it ( Now, i guess they are just filtering posts client side if from that instance )
The good thing is, in Lemmy, the post title can also be edited.
Photon is the default desktop client for me. So better than anything I've tried.
Not answers to your question, but how did you include images in a sequence in single link ?
Also, how to favourite communities ?
Glad to see your tool, but can you share the wallpaper link 🫣
If what you want to do is "copy all my communities from current instance to new instance", then there is a tool called lasim.
Or did you mean to backup, like as to save all posts and subscribed users ?
I can see replies to my comments and posts in infinity. The main issue is now that private messages aren't implemented. Depending on the speed of developement, it will soon land
On android, i wish Xplore file manager had an alternative. Didn't find anything to replace it. Dualpane file managers are the best. (btw, its one of the app where donating to dev really feels like he deserves it ).
Yeah. Without ublock origin, that site is practically unusable.
I don't know about graphene, but doesn't some android roms allow to use custom ( more private Webview implementations) instead of default ?
