Agreed but let's be honest, that would've relied on people voting for their best interests and, as always, Australians generally vote governments out. The safest way to vote out Liberal is to vote Labor and, so, we have a majority.

Do you think it was the Israel/Palestine stance?

Interesting. What a battleground. Enjoy your democracy sausage today and vote for your best interests, whatever that may be.

I showed this meme to my husband (who uses Arch, btw). He didn't know what NixOS was and is now curious. What have I done?

Older millennial from Melbourne, Australia. I like all kinds of music but I'm always drawn to dark, heavy music. Once in a long while, I spend the time to goth up but, honestly, I don't have the time or energy between work and study. Plus I get far too self conscious, even though 'goth' is basically mainstream now, over here.

Professionally an architectural lighting designer but studying to move into game development. Am an all round nerd who likes manga, anime, games and books. And of course, music. I'm currently listening to an album from Horror Vacuui.

What some PMs don't understand is they don't lead the team but instead they should be supporting the team so that the job gets done on time. Shuffle around resources, reverse manage upper management, protect the team from being derailed etc.

This is in construction, though, and I've no idea about how the tech industry works.

All of them. Limit the size, ban acquisitions. Break up monopolies. They've never been good for everyone and just become exploitative.

See Dutch East India company, the worst of the lot who was a corporation that had their own military. Learn from history so mistakes are not repeated again.

You're very welcome! It's from their newest album and I wasn't too much of a fan of the other new songs but I feel I should listen to it again.

Thanks for the link - perfect for my study and working session today!

My windows partition forced me to do an update which has now broken the start menu and right clicking on pinned icons. Thanks Microsoft. Great job.

I really can't wait to be rid of it completely but unfortunately the building and construction industry is addicted to torture and refuses to move on from Autodesk.
