My home office is in my bedroom. I've covered what I can with electrical tape but the glow still comes through. Sometimes I just throw dirty t-shirts and socks over things
When I go to one of those directories, it seems to take me to a web browser. How do I visit one of those communities and/or subscribe to it in Wefwef/Voyager?
Lack of customization, lack of options, lack of compatibility.
With iPhones you choose from iPhone 1, 2, 3, or 4. They're all the same, and frankly they all suck. They're overpriced and the charger always breaks.
If only Europe wanted us there! If moving there were easy, I'd have done it years ago. Unfortunately, I probably need to wait until I retire.
This makes me sad. Information is being erased that will keep people who could've been helped by it from ever finding it.
The people who it will hurt the most have nothing to do with Reddit.
But why are all the blue states cold?
My husband and I thought about Arizona, or Virginia to get away from one of the highest CoL areas in the country.. but eventually decided to focus on Connecticut instead, because we don't want to be in a red state. With the exception of CA, none of the liberal states are sunny and all of them are expensive!
And this is why I buy still buy copies of 2015 Office from eBay
My state has plastic shopping bag bans across (most of?) the state and I feel like it's completely backfired.
Now, instead of those thin plastic bags everyone used to get, people are charged 20 cents for a "reausable" bag, which is still a shitty bag that no one seriously reuses or wants, but it's thick plastic, like thick, crunchy, and indestructible. Maybe double the plastic waste.
I TRY to remember my (actual) reusable bags, I really do. But sometimes I forget and I wind up with these big thick bags I don't want to reuse and wind up throwing out or "recycling" (which probably means shippibg then to the Philippines).
I also do curbside grocery pickup frequently and the ONLY option is to get those thick "reusable" bags with your order. Otherwise the grocery employee (who can't accept tips) will need to individually place each item in my car one at a time.
The thin plastic disposable bags were better. Paper bags would be better. This 20 cents for a "reausable" bag loophole is total bullshit.
It sounds so much harder than just reading.
But I believe it. I work in law and often need clients to respond in writing to questions (so we have a record of their answers). The barely-coherent poorly-spelled responses we get are astonishing - and often from pretty well educated, smart people with high level jobs (after all, they can afford a lawyer).
I'm not saying it's because they're not cute anymore, I'm saying it's because people around them stop being so kind and gentle with them.
Aw, I hate to admit it but I feel sad to be missing place. I liked it
