A Gundam then. That will be $725M for the base model without Beam Saber and shield. Would you like to pay in cash or card?
I think they were naming it after the place where you print and make money and not the plant.
I'm assuming for automatic updates. Just like some people do with Blender.
where it's still ok to wear a mask without ridicule
Serious question, why are people being ridiculed for wearing masks in the US? Is this generally how it goes in all of the US?
I'm from Asia and most countries here have been wearing masks even before the pandemic for multiple reasons - pollution, not wanting to spread sickness including the basic cough and cold not just flu or COVID, when at a clinic or hospital, etc. I wear a mask even when I just have allergic rhinitis just so that I don't accidentally blow snot all over somebody else. No one would bat an eye here if you wore a mask.
I don't understand the negative connotation to wearing masks and why anyone would care if you're wearing one.
Teams for work or more specifically Teams from Microsoft 365 Business and other corporate plans like E3, E5, etc is different from the Teams installed by default on Windows 11. I don't think you can even message across them.
At least 3 if I'm not mistaken.
So you don't have to do finger acrobatics to reach a button at the top of the screen especially on their bigger phones.
Zoom already does 256bit AES end-to-end encryption. From what I understand it isn't the live calls but the files and recorded calls you save on their servers after are what they would use for AI training.
Zoom already updated their TOS a few hours ago to supposedly address the issue. https://gizmodo.com/zoom-ai-privacy-policy-train-on-your-data-1850712655
Update, August 7, 5:06 p.m.: After this story was published, Zoom issued an update to its Terms of Service. The article has been updated to reflect the change.
The only reason I haven't switched to Firefox from Chrome fully is because for some reason Firefox for Android still doesn't have tabs for large screen devices. Mozilla says it's not a priority. 🤷
As a person who also doesn't care much for musicals, I too enjoyed the episode mainly because it shows how some of the characters are coping with their relationships and how they tie to what we know of their future. Especially La'an's part.
It's the only Lemmy app that has an actual working and usable tablet mode. Thunder's tablet mode is... weird. Everybody else doesn't have a tablet mode. Unfortunately, leading with a subscription model is terrible. Even if they're already planning a one time payment option (which they should launched with), it's already left a sour taste. I left big software that was essential for work because of the subscription model (Adobe, Autodesk) and found alternatives. Sync isn't even essential and there are multiple alternatives. Maybe not that pretty, but they're decent enough. I hope Boost does better.
