I can't tell if it's this brush or the SW base, but I definitely felt some burn while lathering this evening.
I hope it's not the base. I really love many of SW's scents.
I've never used talc after a shave. I'm curious: when do you tend to use it, and what does it do for you exactly?
Friday, November 08, 2024: SLS - Monsoon Memories
Summer Storm always brings me back to monsoon season in New Mexico. Fond memories of beautiful sunsets, the smell of rain in the desert, and the sound of thunder in the distance. A great way to end the week.
Easy fix, have emacs available everywhere. :)
It's a massive improvement from manually typing out my SOTD posts. I also love that I don't have to put as much thought into how many uses I have on a blade, it's just in my config file.
I plan to make some changes in the near future, but overall it's been great!
Heather sounds great! Iโve still yet to try any Spearhead soaps. Definitely on my list to pick up at some point.

A lovely end to the day. We made it to Friday, and I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend. The Rhapsody soap and balm are a winning combination, and the Stirling Gentleman EdT pairs really well with the scent.
Thursday, November 07, 2024: FLS - International Stout Day
I don't have any soaps with stout as an ingredient, but this shave was full of vanilla, oak, smoke, and darkness. I think it fits the bill.
I love the scent of Lavanille. Dark, mysterious, and rich. It's one that I might get a full set of when the sample is out.
November 6, 2024 - FLS
I'm glad I took today off to recover from the election chaos. The sun rose as always and I was able to take my time with this luxurious (โข๏ธ) shave. It left me feeling super refreshed.
I love the scent of Arkadia, one of my favorite Stirling dupes.

I definitely overloaded my brush and had a bit of a hard time getting enough water into the lather. After a bit of work, though, it developed nicely.
I'm so glad it's the weekend, but somehow my day is full of responsibilities already. At least I smell great!
