Love the Denver Botanic Gardens! We have an annual family and friends membership that lets us in with a group of up to 6, and it's a great value (even with the recently raised prices). Great place to wander around for a while

It's not so much that Nikola Tesla discovered AC as much as he figured out how to make use of it. I believe generators give alternating current by default as they spin around, but they'd use commutators to convert it to DC.

Source: saw one of those Discovery Channel shows.

Either way, Tesla was a brilliant engineer, but it shouldn't take much to understand that it takes energy (that has to come from somewhere) to produce electricity. That money has to come from somewhere, and I wouldn't want to see a gigantic factory or mansion or whatever paying the same amount (even if $0) compared to some grandmother in Vermont keeping the lights on.

I did. It's great. I also got one for my mom and it's been a little tricky to fix up

It could use some UI/UX work though. For example, if I want to go to a comment I replied to from my profile, rif had a handy button to show my comment with context. On Jerboa I need to go to my comment with a couple unintuitive taps, then the context of that comment with another button that doesn't really feel like it's in the right place.

I'll give it time to develop though

Right, but do you ever turn num lock off? I think the OP was trying to say it should just be stuck on because why would you use those arrow, home/end/pg up/etc buttons that kick in if num lock is off?

That's not true. How do you suppose people work outside in most summer climates? There are rules regarding water availability and such, but no outright prohibitions on working above a certain temperature.

Hell, I keep my AC set at 78F because it takes the edge off but is easy on my energy bill.

Hey, my code base is fantastic if you ignore all the stuff I had to inherit, did in a time crunch, or didn't understand what I was doing!
