Indeed, I just don't bother. That energy can and should be used in more meaningful, impactful ways like protests and policy changes. Which isn't much but it's the best we got.

There's plenty of those, too...

Yeah, I don't fault them for sticking to their original layouts. Maybe Xbox et all should have used numbers instead of letters. Or symbols, I really like the PlayStation's symbols.

In April of 2023, right-wing podcaster Steven Crowder announced that he and his wife, Hilary, were divorcing—an event, he explained to listeners of Louder with Crowder, to which he did not consent. She “didn’t want to be married anymore,” he said, “and in the state of Texas, that is completely permitted.”

Crowder, upset, lamented: “My beliefs don’t matter.”

Fuck you. You consent to be in a marriage, not out.

Every now and then I see a parent having a tender moment with their child and I smile. I then reflect on whether my vasectomy/shirk of parenthood was the right choice.

I always come to the conclusion that it was. Perhaps when I'm older I will feel differently but I just can't imagine that in my life for a long time.

[...] has no place in education other than its historic significance to the art of literature.

I don't think it belongs as art in literature. It's garbage, jumbled, mad texts. I'd say it belongs in studies of mythology or the analysis of our frail human minds to accept such idiocy for so long and so deeply.

Not to mention the other problematic ones that actively discourage subtlety in favor of dogma. It's not automatically wrong if you covet something. Additionally, your parents earn your honor and respect, they shouldn't be granted it unconditionally.

I had no idea Smough had eyes on the breastplate area.... I just figured he had a freakishly small head on a long neck.
