As happy as I am about this, I hope we're not going to see "coincidental" increase of attacks there by ISIS(US/israeli proxy, in my opinion) or other US/israeli proxies after the withdrawal of US military.

The three day victory bullshit story is so boring, you guys repeat it ad nauseum. Get better talking points.

And it's so funny since it was the US/ Nato that mentioned the three day bullshit story. There's not one record of Putin or any Russian official even saying such a thing.

Lmao you guys are pathetic

Americans own their own land? I thought that a lot of them are in spiralling home loan debts( among other debts) for most of their lives, and the majority of the rest are renting, and can't even dream of even owning property. Not the rich, of course.

That's not even taking into account the massive homeless population that the US criminalises and leaves to fend for themselves and just die.

So...how is that better than being provided the security of housing that China is doing?

Nice. I hope the DPRK can bypass more of the US imposed sanctions to improve everyone's lives there.

The sheer fucking arrogant entitlement of this woman.

"I'm not doing this for you, I'm doing this for me." As one of the men are telling her she's destroying private property.

Hey, i agree. And i would say that i was one of those people when i joined lemmy.

I was apolitical because i was clueless but leaned towards liberal only because that was the default political sentiment around me. I hope that makes sense, I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It's like i knew something was very wrong with society but honestly couldn't pinpoint anything.

I left reddit and came to lemmy because i was on the piracy sub and the top mod recommended everyone move to lemmy.

And that's kind of how i found hexbear first, and then lemmygrad. Some people complained about hexbear and i thought let me check out what they're complaining about. I went through a few posts and i was honestly thunderstruck. Here are people that feel exactly the way i feel and can actually explain to me why I'm feeling that way and exactly what's wrong with everything around us.

I won't lie, it did take a lot of reading of posts to shed myself of the default liberal way of looking at things.

So that's my perspective of coming from a liberal way of thinking. You guys do good work. I know i have a long way to go but i just started reading the communist manifesto and one of Noam Chomky's books. And my copy of "The east is still red" is on it's way to me. So you did make a difference, to me at least.

Also @ExotiqueMatter, you might not remember a comment you made to me a few months ago i think, it might not have seemed like much but it sort of made me happy and encouraged lol. Thanks for that.

This, in my opinion, is the biggest problem. Neoliberalism, unchecked corporate capitialism is the main threat to democracy.

It might sound like hyperbole to some people but i also really feel like it is putting the whole of humanity in danger. With the unchecked plundering of resources around the whole world, and the destruction of ecosystems just for more profits for the ruling class.

I have nothing to add other than saying Fuck Denuvo. It's one of the worst things to happen to the gaming world

We live in the suburbs a bit away from the city centre. The stink was god awful in the city itself. But i remember when we woke up that day, opened the door and was smelling something strange. We were so confused lol, at first we thought it was just the sea air but there was an underlying stench that didn't belong.

So getting to the city a few of us said we're working from home and left. Bosses didn't deny or penalise us.

We all thought it was a sewerage problem until they cleared up what was the cause.

He was a baby, a baby starved to death because of Israel's genocide.

Yes, and now you know why most of the world's inhabitants hate the USA

Yes, you're right, the US has shut down so much positive change in the middle east. It seems like the other day that i read about how the US effectively destroyed the democratic Iranian government, and installed a puppet religious fundamental government.

I suppose it makes sense for the US to impose a fundamentalist government, they just want the middle east to be like themselves
