Yeah, seems pretty reasonable.
Only if logging out actively invalidates session tokens, which appears to have not been the case. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3364
Being able to use Google maps (which is constantly updated, integrated with my contacts, and actually had a UI/UX team design it's interface) on the tablet sized vehicle display and car stereo system, in addition to whatever music apps, is pretty nice. As well as Google search via steering wheel controls for managing navigation.
Yeah, I could play stuff with Bluetooth or use the integrated GPS system but the quality of audio is noticably worse and the GPS is absolutely shit but nice to have in a pinch.
Honestly idk what other apps integrate with AA, music and directions pretty much do the trick for me.
I didn't say the headline was the best, I said the article discussed the topic at hand and provided examples with how.
The fact that people are ALREADY dying and this would LIMIT their MANDATED breaks, it goes to show this is very much a step in the wrong direction.
That's not even acknowledging the fact that all estimates indicate summers will only get more severe.
Would you consider editing your original post to reflect that :)

Definitely, astroturfing/Cambridge analytica/Russian bot farms coming up on the 2016 US election were the major causes of a shift in the paradigm. The actual results of the election and Brexit then influenced a strong divisive change in society globally. The pandemic brought even more people online who were dropped right into this chaotic chapter in Internet/cultural history.
Gonna be some really interesting studies in the future looking at how all of this played out.
Just add a little nuclear winter and we're good. So there might be a little radioactive fallout, that's just a problem for the poors to deal with. Billionaires will be okay in their acre sized underground bunker clubs and that's what's important.
Yes, submit a GDPR/CCPA (Reddit is in California, so they are legally required to serve these request to anyone 'protected' by US laws) request. It's expensive and time consuming for them. It should also help you confirm if all of your data has actually been deleted. They have 30 days to comply with the request.
My plan is, one I get my data and confirm everything is deleted, to submit another request if any data was found and will repeat this until all of the data is gone. Only then will I finally submit one more out of spite followed by immediately deleting the account. Honestly not sure how that will affect them processing it but I'd imagine it should then indeed confirm the account itself is 'deleted'.

While I appreciate your sentiment, Pandas definitely might beat us. They're already endangered and they're fucking idiots.
