Never expected to see an E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy meme. What a mindfuck of a game. Now I need to reinstall it and gain more Brouzouf while wondering if I'm experiencing time sideways again.
Thanks for shouting this out. Honestly the only thing keeping me going back to Windows is the complexity in getting modding done on various games, Bethesda and BG3 among them. I know it can be done, but there are too many hoops for my post-work brain to jump through. End up running out of spoons to keep learning all the new concepts. This is exciting, definitely keeping an eye on this as hopefully the final barrier breaker to switch to Linux full time.
Like many here, I'm also looking forward to a good story driven Star Trek game. It feels like it's been so long since a proper one came out, and I have high hopes that this one will combine story with great gameplay. Definitely excited for it!
Agree. Did the same - got it included when I preordered a Framework laptop. Played through it and was disappointed, then tried to make my own fun Fallout 4 style and was constantly underwhelmed.
There's no saving this one. Even modders are saying there's not a way to mod fun into it FO4/Skyrim style. Bethesda would have to remake the game at this point. The core loops are just dull and uninspired, which is almost impressive. Normally you can build on them to make something at least better. Not here.
I'm just hoping this shows people not to preorder anything else. Especially Bethesda games.
~~Sklylines 1 was on Unity, but Skylines 2 is using Unreal as its engine this time.~~
I stand corrected. Must have been confused by the tech demo and hearing about "the new engine" from some CS content creators and making assumptions. It is indeed made in Unity, which is a shame. I used to love that engine, but it really hasn't kept up with the times. I was so excited for it being in UE5.
