What about email? Just create a new one just for this stuff. Go back to giving out just an email. Everyone has one of those too and it's not as 'archaic' as a phone#

Outside of the biz world, people aren't buying as many devices that would use the os. Or not replacing the ones they had that can't upgrade?

Trying to create an image of my servers OS drive. After 24+ hrs it was still going, and at smaller and smaller speeds.

Luckily the real data is on another healthy drive. Just sucks to lose configs and such. It was a setup that started off as a learning experiment that ended up in 'production' at the house.

 

I can't blame the customer here. Ya, that's the USB in the Ethernet port.
