Fuck yeh project justice, I forgot about that. All these games have so much more character and charm than Virtua Fighter which is just dull in comparison.

I tried it for the first time this year, I put in around 10 hours to try and get into it and honestly I found it pretty dull. I didn't think the combat felt particularly satisfying and the story as far as I got in it did nothing to interest me or draw me in.

I'm not saying it is a bad game because I certainly dont think that but for me personally just nothing clicked, it felt like a slog just to get through the 10 or so hours I put in and I dont have enough time to force myself to like games any more so I just moved on.

Was never a massive fan of Virtua Fighter I'd rather see a return of Fighting Vipers! Or even an update on Fighters Megamix which does have some Virtua Fighter characters appearing and is like a solid mix of the two.

Yeh I miss the calm of the night so much, working alone with no idiots trying to talk to me about stuff I didn't care about, the commute back home in the morning on my bike before most people were awake especially when it was just getting light. Even on my days off riding my bike around d town at 2am when it is a different place, so peaceful!

My mental health however is definitely better for not working nights. In the winter I'd often go weeks without ever seeing the sun which as much as I didn't want to admit it at the time definitely negatively impacted my mental health.

I slept better for the 15 years I worked nights than I have since I switched back to working days. Never had a problem falling asleep, never used blackout blinds or anything like that just always found it easy to get in a good 8 hours.

When I wanted to switch my sleep schedule I would do what another commenter called a reset where I would basically just stay up for 24 hours, be over tired then go to sleep at a "normal" time so I could switch back to day time waking hours for a weekend. Then in reverse I would usually have a nap from 20:00 - 00:00 then wake up and stay up the rest of the night before going back to sleep at my usual work time to flip back the other way.

I use AirVPN and see others who are happy and recommend it. I moved from mullvad due to them stopping port forwarding and have been happy ever since.

Taking a decent hit of acid once it kicks in smoking a few bong hits then having sex. Best feeling ever!

Deathlands as per usual, just did a couple of books this week.

I'm also right at the end of Mr Mercedes by Stephen King, it has been a pretty good read and a departure from the usual King I am used to being more of a detective novel but I have enjoyed it.

I'm going to start Flux, the third book in the Infinite series, tomorrow.

Look forward to it, the first book is one of the ones I listened to recently! I'm similar with doing stuff in order when I can.

I was actually eyeing up Dresden today because of your name and I've heard you speak highly of it but I dont think I want to start another long series just yet as I currently have two under way!
